Geovo is a geography game for iPhone and iPad made by Aumatex. It is still in development and not yet published on the App Store. This policy describes how the app is designed and will be completed with the definitive details before release.

Geovo

1. Data controller

  • Aumatex srls — Via Umberto Biancamano 25, 00185 Rome (RM), Italy. VAT IT15617831001.
  • Requests about personal data: privacy@aumatex.it.

2. The app

  • Geovo is a geography game for iPhone and iPad, developed by Aumatex srls.
  • The app is in development and is not yet available on the App Store.

3. Account and game progress

  • Geovo needs no Aumatex account: there is no sign-up and no login, and there is no server of ours that receives your progress.
  • Your game progress stays on the device and, if you use iCloud, in the private database of your iCloud account, so you find it on your other devices. That data is handled by Apple under its own policies: Aumatex has no access to it.
  • Leaderboards and achievements go through Game Center: if you are signed in, scores and achievements are handled by Apple under its own policies.

4. Advertising and usage statistics

  • Geovo will include advertising through Google AdMob. While you use it, the app will ask for the consent required by the GDPR with Google’s tool (User Messaging Platform) and, separately, for Apple’s tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency).
  • Geovo will also include an anonymous usage-statistics service.
  • The definitive details of these data flows — what is sent, to whom, on what legal basis and how to refuse — will be published on this page before the app is released. The date at the top of the page marks the latest revision.

5. Purchases

  • In-app purchases go through StoreKit (Apple): payment data never reaches us.

6. Your rights

  • You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to privacy@aumatex.it.
  • You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
