Privacy Policy – Koinvert

This Privacy Policy describes how Aumatex SRLS, as data controller, manages data related to the Koinvert mobile app.

2. Data Collected

  • Koinvert does not collect personal data from users.
  • The app does not require registration, does not include login, does not create user accounts.
  • It does not collect name, email, phone number, location, device identifiers, usage data, diagnostic data, or financial data.

3. Data Processed Locally on Device

  • Functional information is saved exclusively on the user's device and not transmitted to proprietary servers.
  • This includes: preferences (theme, language, currency), conversion history, favorite currencies, and cache data.
  • Data remains stored through standard iOS operating system mechanisms.

4. Network Connections and External Data Sources

  • Requests made exclusively via HTTP GET to public endpoints for exchange rates.
  • Requests do not include personal data, identifiers, or user-generated content.
  • Endpoints used: jsdelivr.net and currency-api.pages.dev.

5. Absence of Tracking, Profiling, and Advertising

  • The app does not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
  • It does not perform user profiling or use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
  • It does not use third-party crash reporting systems or proprietary backends for data collection.

6. Clipboard

  • The app writes to the clipboard only upon explicit action to copy the conversion result.
  • Koinvert does not read clipboard content and does not monitor the clipboard.

7. Legal Basis for Processing

  • No personal data processing is performed by the controller through the app.
  • In case of voluntary contact for support, the legal basis is the execution of pre-contractual or contractual measures (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

8. Data Retention

  • Local data remains on the device until manual deletion, reset, or app uninstallation.
  • Aumatex SRLS does not retain such data on its systems.

9. Data Recipients

  • Aumatex SRLS does not communicate user personal data to third parties through Koinvert.
  • Queries to external services for exchange rates do not contain user-provided data.

10. Transfers Outside the EU

  • No transfer of personal data to Aumatex SRLS servers is planned.
  • Access to third-party public endpoints follows the technical infrastructure of respective providers (e.g., Cloudflare).

11. Data Subject Rights

  • Users may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection.
  • Requests should be sent to info@aumatex.it.
  • A complaint may be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

12. Minors

  • Koinvert is not designed to collect personal data from minors.
  • The app does not perform any data collection regardless of age.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

  • Aumatex SRLS reserves the right to modify this notice at any time.
  • Updates will be published in this section with the revision date.
