Ramea is Aumatex’s app for iPhone, iPad and Mac to build and keep your family tree. Here are the answers to the most common questions.
RameaGetting started
- Start with yourself, your parents and your grandparents, then add one branch at a time.
- If you already have a tree, you can import it from MacFamilyTree or from a GEDCOM file.
The tree and its people
- Explore the tree on a free canvas, in 3D too, focusing on one person at a time.
- Every person can have dates, places on the map, photos, documents and stories.
iCloud and devices
- Ramea works on iPhone, iPad and Mac. With the same iCloud account the tree syncs by itself across your devices, through your private iCloud.
- If the tree does not appear on another device, check that both are signed in to iCloud with the same account and are online.
Sharing and printing
- With Ramea Pro you can share the tree with relatives through iCloud sharing and create family posters and books.
- When you share or print, living people are hidden by default.
Ramea Pro
- Ramea is free with no limits on people, photos and trees. Ramea Pro adds sharing with relatives, family posters and books, the AI assistant, old photo restoration, animated migrations and advanced statistics.
- Ramea Pro is available as a yearly subscription or a lifetime purchase, shareable with Family Sharing. On a new device the purchase is restored with the same Apple ID.
Your data
- You can export or delete all your data at any time, from the app.
- Ramea is available in 11 languages.
